Ambassadors for Hope was founded by Isaac Addai, a Ghanaian-born United States resident living in Washington DC metropolitan area. Isaac’s passion for helping others came naturally at an early age as the eldest of 5 kids and always helping his siblings. He always wanted to be a philanthropist and so it wasn’t a surprise when he started putting his faith to work after a 2010 visit to his home country for the first time in 20 plus years since he been in the States. After seeing the economic hardship facing the future generation of Africa, the visit compelled him to get his organization started. After completing his education he felt it was time to give back to the continent and the communities that raised him. Isaac has become a prominent innovative and a philanthropist who sees the hope to rally the Healthcare, Education and Technology in Africa.
I am Enoch Asante and I am a Ghanaian-born American, who lives in the Washington DC metropolitan area. It is a great honor to be part of this organization. As a child, I have always believed that the purpose of human life was to serve others. Simply, seeking a change in this world is not enough, for every change starts with one person at a time. Former President Barack Obama said, “ Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek”.
My name is Nora and I am privileged to be a part of this organization. My passion is to help others the best way I can. My passion is rooted in Isaiah 58 verse 7, where I have learned about the things that matter a lot to God. To share my bread with the hungry, bring home those who have been cast out and clothe those who are unable to clothe themselves. I believe in giving and helping those who need my help. As we reach out to various communities throughout Africa, we hope to create a lasting impact where each person we encounter understands their importance as human beings and discover their potentials for greatness and fulfillment.
My name is Darryl Owusu-Ansah, and it’s a privilege to place my ambition and devotion into an organization so devoted to giving back to those in need, especially in underprivileged countries. I am American-born Ghanaian, living in the Washington DC metropolitan area. I am currently a student at Old Dominion University, majoring in Biology, with expectations of going to medical school. I think that just as the Lord poured out himself for us, we should do the very same for others. Matthew 25:40- says: “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine you did for me.” So continuing to fulfill our own calling from the Lord, likewise contributing to the life of children and adults akin is something worth more than gold.
